London School of Economics professor Lord Desai, on his reaction to one of Saif Gaddafi’s recent speeches:

“I was disappointed … because he was not behaving as if he had had an LSE education.”

    LSE’s entire attitude towards Gaddafi’s son is incredible! I read today that upon receiving his PhD, he “gifted” the University £1.5million. Psssh!!!

    Well, um, also, in fact, Dr. Gaddafi (Ph.D. LSE) was behaving precisely as if he had had an LSE education. There’s a long list of additional as-ifs I can think of (e.g., as if being dragged through the gates of Hell and into Satan’s anus is just a lazy walk along the shaded lanes of the park…) but you get the idea.
