    – development office- a univ. pres and a thesis titled:”Elucidating the Role of the Presidential Spouse in Development and Alumni Relations.”

  2. DM Says:

    Oooh, Margaret, please don’t imitate those journalists who cannot help including pseudo-French on stories about France.

    “club privat” -> “club privé”
    “club exchangiste” or “club exchangist” -> “club échangiste”

    You can tell your word processor to check French spelling.

  3. UD Says:

    DM: Many thanks! I’ll fix it.

  4. DM Says:

    “I cannot think of another French person over the last two decades who has generated this much interest, debate, and animosity.”

    One word: Sarkozy.

  5. Margaret Soltan Says:

    Hm. You may be right, DM.
