Brown University President Ruth Simmons is a lot more tight-fisted in negotiations with the city of Providence than she was as a board member at Goldman Sachs, where she signed off on that eye-popping $68 million bonus for CEO Lloyd Blankfein in 2007.

Keep an eye out for what they’re saying about Brown trustee Steven A. Cohen too.

Two initiates did a comedy act lampooning Mr. Corzine and Steven A. Cohen, a prominent hedge fund manager whose firm, SAC Capital Advisors, has had some former employees who have been ensnared in recent insider-trading investigations. (Neither Mr. Cohen, who is not a Kappa, nor Mr. Corzine has been accused of any wrongdoing.)

“What do Steve Cohen and Jon Corzine have in common?” the joke went. “They’re future cellmates!”

Haha! Those ka-razy Brown presidents and trustees!
