A former office mate left our state university and went to teach at the Air Force Academy. He was apprehensive at first, but ended up liking it.
Cadets, he said, could not fail to participate in class discussion. At the professor’s “Cadet, respond,” they had to have substantive to say . . . or else.

Well, at least their restroom policy is more humane than the one at a certain school in Brooklyn.
