UD: I love these posts. In a prior life (or so it seems) I covered town meetings for the Taunton Gazette. I never did it as well as you do. Question: Since everyone is writing about the Gettysburg Address (YES!) how about you do one of your close readings of it as writing?

Van: Thank you! As for the Gettsyburg Address: Iconic American history documents frighten me. I’ll stick to poetry.
