God bless America:)! There are good online vendors of contemporary fountain pens, high quality mechanical pencils, notebooks and memo pads, writing accessories of all sorts. Not toys, not retro kitsch, not bogus luxo. Working tools for people who write.
One vendor, Norman Haase, is even quoted in his area newspaper saying that we’re in a new Golden Age of fountain pens.
If you’re stuck in a bad groove, try changing up with a new clutch of writing instruments. That may help.
(BTW-I’m not in the trade. Yup, I keyboard, but I don’t want to hear any darned crap in 2044–after I’m gone–about a “cognition crisis” that researchers’ll say can be traced to the decline of cursive instruction, etc.)
