If it’s any consolation, it’s definitely in the same family of plants, that is notoriously difficult, with 20,000+ species, and many in the horticultural trade. Plus, it looks lovely.
Anon: Yes – I think it’s going to be stunning. And other blooms are coming out on the plant now too. I don’t tend to like much color in my garden, but I love having a few very hot colors, and this looks like just the ticket.
