This reminds me that philosophy of value — moral and aesthetic — are lumped under the more general category axiology. Perhaps it’s just the money wasted, but somehow my aesthetic reaction has a similar quality. But, then again, perhaps my “decorously” expanded Sears Catalogue bungalow is objectionable too. Maybe it is all a matter of perspective. Honestly, I don’t know.
