Banks’ description of the culture of the Vanderbilt football program doesn’t excuse his actions in any way.
OTOH, they certainly make Penn State’s hiring of James Franklin very questionable.
But, he’s WINNING and has them back in the Top Ten. It won’t be brought up unless he falters.

john: Yes – I’ve talked on the blog about the scandal of Penn State of all places immediately picking up the disgraced James Franklin. No doubt his past will eventually come to haunt him. But it’ll be a small thing for cosmically vile Penn St.
