UD, y’all have to keep in mind that TX allowed students to carry weapons on their public uni campuses. A few of us knew it was a matter of time before some addled idiot pulled out a weapon and killed someone. I didn’t think the initial victim would be an LEO, but there you have it. What happens if the school gets sued for stupid policies and insurance companies find a way not to pay? Yeah, Guns Up, way to go Billy The Kid…..
JND: Even though the weather is likely to be hellacious, I will make an effort to get to Texas this summer.
I think what went wrong at Texas Tech is they’re not yet with the program. They don’t yet truly understand that they live among teenagers with very serious weaponry. I mean they just let the guy stand there – no handcuffs – cuz they must have seen how young he is, etc. They need to get up to date on contemporary America.
