I was disheartened to read that Roy Moore is a Baptist. He is also a graduate of the military academy at West Point.
On the plus side, he apparently did not play high school football in Texas, although he did live here briefly as a child.

It will be fascinating to see how well he does in the election. I’m assuming he’ll win, but I’m also assuming he won’t win by much.
