Russian Medaling

Am I the only person to have come up with this brilliant pun? I Googled the phrase and got nowhere.

Did you try it with two ‘l’s? This Guardian article

MattF: Interesting! As I read, I thought of my brief struggle with “summit” as a verb: “She summited Everest.” It’s similar in meaning to the verb to medal: To accomplish something… I find that I don’t anymore have any difficulty with these formulations. Especially since they help people use fewer words in their writing, which is almost always a good thing.
