Yet Another Respectable University Gets All Scummy…

… because it wants to win games.

Nothing to be done, though. The president used to play basketball.

That is very discouraging. I have long admired Binghamton because they have an established residential college system. They could very easily mark themselves out as a nationally-recognized public Ivy by strengthening and promoting that system, but educational improvement doesn’t seem to be the administration’s concern.

Binghamton has serious free speech issues as well, with a cult-like Social Work program threatening to expel (they call it "advancing") students who criticize department decisions.

Time for some new campus leadership.

UD, your fellow some-time Rehoboth Beach denizen, Tony Kornheiser of the Wash. Post is a Binghamton alum.

Camille Paglia’s alma mater, too. I suppose it’s where she learned her brawling style for her post at Bennington.

I need to put some money on them for the Fulmer Cup. There is MUCH potential here!

Wow. You really have to wonder about a guy who thinks Allen Iverson has been a "model citizen in America." The man got hounded out of Philadelphia (Philadelphia!!!) for his bad manners and bad team citizenship.
