I’ve known reluctant teachers to phone it in, but never quite in this sense.

My campus has pretty restrictive sick-day policies (and allegedly, if you don’t follow them to the LETTER, you will be charged with INSUBORDINATION), but I don’t think they’re bad enough that I’d consider calling in a bomb threat instead of calling in sick and then doing the mountain of paperwork….
