He designed the Denver Public Library– not only the building, but the lamps, the tables… pretty much everything. I may be a bit biased, but I think it’s beautiful.
Not in stylistic details or the specifics of taste, but in the free play of his imagination and in whimsy (in his case more buttoned down) Graves always reminded me of aspects of Gaudi or Miro. A loss for visual culture.
