Congrats! The son of my sister’s childhood friend is a post-doc at BU. I’ve known Charlene, too, for decades. I’ve never met Char’s son, but my understanding is he’s happy in his vocation and department. BU appears willing to support the long slog of scholarship in the humanities. (I’m a non-academic, and willing to hear alternate views of BU.)
