Inches from the door, a
wren has built its nest
in some potted ferns.
UD has watched it collect
moss for its nest from our
topiary bulls full of sphagnum.
Wrens don’t mind our interrupting
them all the time; they seem to
like people. And along with a
handy nest-building material nearby,
there’s a water-source very close.
