UD now walks to Whole Foods in Somerville Massachusetts in search of things that go with chlodnik. Twin infant girls, and one of their grandmothers, accompany her.
UD has been way maternal this week. Much dandling.

The neighboring cities are similar (per capita) in some respects, but differ in others.

Sorry, can’t help there. Cold soups are the bane of my existence when visiting Poland in the summer (OK, along with the hot trains). I’m OK with a tart chłodnik from beets as a preliminary to a meat-and-potatoes main course, but I really don’t care for the sweet cold fruit soups.
