Ah well, "nice" I suppose to see that these things are happening even among the big dogs. Our own little salary dispute continues to grind along painfully:

My spies have revealed the REAL response of the Clemson administration:

Whereas, faculty governance is a joke and a distraction and,

Whereas, we have the same feeling for dealing with the faculty as we do for stepping into a pile of dogshit and,

Whereas, we could care less what a bunch of ankle-biting whiners think and,

Whereas, we need a fun car like a convertible and a largish SUV to complement our pearl-white Lexi and,

Whereas, the cost of administrative junkets is increasing rapidly, actually leaving us with out-of-pocket costs and,

Whereas, certain proteges and relatives of ourselves, trustees, or local politicians are in need of large incomes and

Whereas, we can basically do whatever we want,

Be It Resolved That the Faculty Go to Hell and further,

Be It Resolved That We’ll Get You and Your Little Dog and Lab and Grad Assistants Too.

Prof – no one could express the truth better than what was brought out by your "spies" and, the most telling, the most humiliating, the most effective tool used by the Administration is the very last expressed in the resolution. Threat, Intimidation, emotional attack, sexual harassment, bullying and isolating are all tools that are used in the Clemson Administation’s battle with anyone who utters any form of criticism…

It is a sad and vile time at Clemson University.
