… a University of Washington football player ran down a purse snatcher in downtown Seattle. He was one of a number of people chasing the thief, who was arrested:

The chase lasted about 10 minutes, according to Fancher. It included two other men, one of whom suffered knee and nose injuries while trying to catch the purse snatcher.
