I don’t understand where Wharton gets the $1.2 billion figure for the Pfizer penalty. "In the pipeline" and others say the figure is $2.3 billion. Either it’s wrong or it’s not wrong. If it’s not wrong, I’m guessing that the penalty decreases Pfizer’s income, and therefore decreases the tax they pay. So, half of the the penalty is made up of tax savings?
