Since I’m on a little kick about land grant universities and the proper role of research/education in them…
Heck is at Delaware, Negishi is at Purdue, and Suzuki is at Hokkaido. The first two institutions are… You guessed it.
Negishi is the Herbert C. Brown professor at Purdue. HCB is an earlier winner of the Prize for his work on boron hydrides.
