C’mon, in France a university president was once on trial for proxenetism (aka pimping; the case was actually fairly complicated and involved sadomasochistic soirées); another was dishonorably dismissed from the civil service and is being investigated for corruption in the awards of diplomas to foreign students who did not demonstrate competence for getting them.
Just to set the record straight: the associate dean cited in this linked article is ~not~ the person who very occasionally posts here under the moniker “AnAssociateDean” (i.e., me) 😉
