    actually, the student ghetto sounds nicer than most of Albany. the whole city is a dump. upstate New York in general has awful cities- they’ve all had the life sucked out of them by the loss of manufacturing and hairbrained redevelopment schemes, and what’s left isn’t worth bothering with.
