Joe Paterno’s weekly news conference, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in the press room at Beaver Stadium, has been canceled
Jeff Nelson, sports information director, appeared outside the stadium to read a statement to hundreds of waiting reporters, photographers and camera people.
“Due to the ongoing legal circumstances centered around the recent allegation and charges, we have determined that today’s press conference cannot be held and will not be rescheduled,” Nelson said.
