Actually, I’m not surprised, given the number of “But I can’t take afternoon labs; I have PRACTICE!” students I’ve gotten. Or the ones who have to miss every Friday’s class because they have away meets.
Honestly, if schools are going to have athletics? Make it like the GI bill – have the students “serve” and earn credits towards tuition (which are forfeited if they are convicted of a crime) and then they can use those credits after their athletic careers are done.
