After The Donald favorably mentioned corporate raider Carl Icahn during a campaign stop here, I wrote a letter speculating on how Icahn’s influence could affect health care. (The letter was mildly favorable to Trump and Icahn.)
The Trumpophiles I know acted all hurt ‘n’ stuff that someone would actually think about what Trump’s initiatives might be. All they see is a strongman-billionaire knocking other people about, and that seems to play to their political geldedness. I wish I could say something nicer, but I can’t.
