The surfers on the Eisbach are mesmerizing to watch. They do it most of the year; I was there once in November and they were at it. Unlike an ocean wave, the standing wave on the Eisbach is against the current, so they can stay up for a long time. This particular surfing site is right next to the infamous Haus der Kunst whose architecture still creeps me out. More fun to watch the surfers!
