That’s a student government position, and Student Entertainment is within their purview. Orono is such a tiny place that I can imagine that the local preservatif supply can get depleted quickly without such emergency stimuli.
Somehow, I find it difficult to believe that students who will post semi-nude pictures of themselves (or worse) on social network sites are ashamed of buying condoms.
