UD feeling uneasily legitimized this morning…

… as she discovers a link to her blog — to a particularly nasty post at that — on the Facebook page of George Washington University’s Columbian College of Arts and Sciences.

Columbian College of Arts and Sciences English Prof. Margaret Soltan’s blog weighs in on “fair market value” for doctors’ consulting fees after surgeon resigns during Congressional probe.

Etc.

I’m on an official GW university page?

UD ran back to bed and woke up Mr UD.

“Doesn’t this,” she said anxiously, “make me legitimate?”

“Don’t worry,” said Mr UD. “No.”

I’m pretty sure you don’t do Facebook, UD, but I have a link to your blog on my profile page…although I have no way of knowing how many (if any) friends I’ve directed to your page.

I can’t say if this makes you any more or less legitimate than being on CCAS’s Facebook page, though…

Actually, Joe, there’s a University Diaries Facebook page, maintained by a group of readers:

    http://apps.facebook.com/blognetworks/blog/university_diaries/

UD’s very flattered by this. And by your linking to her.

Interesting…I never realized that you’re on Facebook…sort of. Your faithful legions are more out there than I thought, I guess.
