That is, I’m reading this post directly after the one from the thesdan about lacrosse culture, and it makes me think your rhetoric is a bit less accurate than it could be.

dance: Wasn’t a suicide attempt. He was too drunk to realize he couldn’t make it to shore; his father had to call the police. There was a record of the incident, and I’m thus citing it as part of his police record. Since I wrote this post, a number of other incidents of violence and drunkenness in his past, some involving the police and some not, have come to light.
