Pretty much, yep. One of the amusing facets of campaign season. Smear ads all sound like they’ve been scored for a William Castle horror flick or documentary on WWII Germany. Either pricking piano music or slashing strings.
Unless it’s your own ad — then light, airy, melodic cues to frame those shots of you rolling up your sleeves and playing with puppies.
