To put that in perspective, the university president makes roughly $570,000 per year and has use of a state car.
Izzo makes 3.5 million, plus winning incentives.

The difference is that the university president is a state employee and Izzo is a contractor to the athletic foundation who is responsible for his compensation package.
I doubt if the athletic department gets one dollar of tax money.

Hey superdestroyer: I thought Izzo was a leader of student-athletes, an integral part of the intellectual as well as athletic culture of his university.
