I remember hearing that The University of Minnesota engaged Charles Nemeroff as a consultant to the search committee for the chair of psychiatry. At the time Nemeroff’s compromises had not been exposed and he was seen as something of a kingmaker. He was even referred to as Boss of Bosses. Nemeroff is said to have put in the fix for Charles Schultz. So who is surprised when questions about compromise arise in connection with Schultz as well?

In the city pages article Dr. Schulz is quoted as saying Seroquel study #132, done in third world countries, was designed to gain FDA approval. So, where is the science here? One can only believe that AstraZeneca designed the study so that failure was not an option!!! So, Schulz pens his name to this study after his own was failure !! Again, where is the science here? The conflict-of-interest at the University of Minnesota is sickening to say the least. A once proud medical school that has degraded to nothing more than pharmaceutical prostitution.
