    Professor:
    I finally managed to get a copy of your book on teaching beauty. It seems to do a pretty good job of taking no prisoners. Have you received any feedback from the profession? I would be curious as to any feedback you received.

    Van: Thanks for the kind words about the book! It received some wonderful reviews, but, no, it didn’t generate much controversy in the profession.
