Borucinski, Michal & Zofia & daughter Hanna Soltan
— Hanna being Mr UD’s mother, and the Borucinskis being her parents.
Together they rescued, and hid for years in their Warsaw apartment, a Jewish boy.
As of the beginning of this year, their names appear in Yad Vashem’s list of the righteous.

Very nice. My dad was in a Ranger Division is WWII and they liberated a sub-camp of Buchenwald and are listed for that in the Holocaust Museum. I have no reason to believe my father was at the camp. Do you know what happened to the person they sheltered?

Van: Absolutely. He emigrated to Australia and made a great life there – he’s still going strong in Melbourne.
