Sure, let’s stop the Trump supporters at the border.

wayward, i say we just turn the non-tribal areas of Idaho into a rez for the Trumpers and build them that supermax gated community they so desire, I bet Mexico would help pay for that wall.

UD, given your long-standing concern about the predations of for-profits, I was wondering whether you planned to vet the activities of Mr. Hillary Clinton as the “honorary chancellor” of Laureate University? I hear that there are 16.5 million reasons to do so.

  4. Margaret Soltan Says:

tp: You’re absolutely right that Clinton’s involvement with the scummy for-profit ed biz has been unconscionable. I will be writing about it.

  5. dmf Says:

theprof, indeed as one also sees in the ongoing exposures of the backdoor channels from the Foundation to the State Dept. that despite her brief pivot to dispatch Bernie she is of a kind with Bubba in his failing to see a distinction worth making between public and for-profit, just part of why her economic plans are so out of touch with the currents of our lives in the ruins after the economic crash.

  7. theprofessor Says:

The State Department gig was an opportunity for both Bonnie and Clyde to show that they could play by the rules. It’s clear that they can’t and won’t.

  8. Margaret Soltan Says:

tp: I have no doubt that both Clintons, as I’ve said, have had occasion to be cynical and self-serving and at times rule-breaking in their careers. Not sure how you get from there to Bonnie and Clyde.
