Dagblog
University Diaries. Hosted by Margaret Soltan, professor of English at George Washington University. Boy is she pissed — mostly about athletics and funding, the usual scandals — but also about distance learning and diploma mills. She likes poems too. And she sings.

I thought that the Democratic Party was the party of the poor, downtrodden masses. I guess the poor, downtrodden masses these days are able to afford $100K/plate fundraisers. It certainly is also intriguing that the godlet Obama, the divus of diversity, also chooses to vacation in a place that is nearly all white. No doubt he is practicing for his move to the $5 million mansion in the wonderfully diverse Kalorama neighborhood, which is a whole 3.7% African American.
It’s almost as though President Diversity has a thing against people of color or something.

theprof, the Dems made a move back with Bubba to representing people with advanced degrees and the like so that’s old news for most of us, not sure what that bit of channeling Limbaugh was referring to but if ya meant something like:

than again that’s a bit 20C…

I already read it, dmf. The rush of articles after the godlet Obama began vacationing there are typical liberal CYA ops to obscure the fact that 3.1% of the residents in the last census were black. Admittedly, the Vineyard is a bastion of diversity compared to Chappaqua, NY, the site of Bluedress, the Clinton plantation. It is less than 1% black. Both the godlet himself and the wannabe empress prefer their diversity at arm’s length.

Obama & Hill love diversity and helping po folks in THEORY.

I don’t get how Obama, a black man, moving with his black family into a predominantly white area is somehow anti-diversity. If anything it’s pretty much the apodictic example of introducing diversity to a neighborhood. What am I missing?
