“When one of [Professor Alexander Neumeister’s] supervisors at [NYU’s medical school] questioned him in connection with an audit of his P-Card charges, [he] … asked that the audit findings not be disclosed to others because it would jeopardize his job and his children’s ability to attend [NYU] without having to pay tuition.”

The guy’s got balls. When it comes to freeloading, the guy has major balls.

And look at his research! This is from 2016.

Yale might want to take this down.

Big award-winner.

It’s hard to decide whether to call that chutzpah or a sense of entitlement or grand larceny. Maybe all of the above.

I’m sure The Friend who got benefits was only a consultant helping Dr. Neumeister in his research on receptors.

tp: Apparently she was a ballet dancer…

  4. adam Says:

Now it comes out that Neumeister has relocated – to Africa. https://www.statnews.com/2017/11/29/alexander-neumeister-nyu-nih-grants/

  5. Margaret Soltan Says:

adam: Yes – but he was arrested here – in NY – and has agreed not to travel before his trial.

  6. Bill R Says:

A professional ballet dancer. I’m impressed.

If you are a professor at a major university and if you are going to wreck your life and your family by falling in love with a girl half your age, she really should be a ballet dancer.

Me, I’m just a computer programmer. When my time comes, I’m sure it will be with someone I met in a gentlemen’s club. Or in rehab.

    Bill R: LOL.
