    dmf: My horrid thought exactly – what a target. But I felt that way – with a good deal of anxiety – about Obama throughout his presidency, and he seems to have survived. Sinema’s Wiki page does say that she has dealt with a stalker.

    I’ve been watching her debate McSally. She showed in particular there the ability to keep smiling and say rather bland things and let her opponent get all nasty and stupid and riled up. Within minutes, McSally darkly mentioned George Soros… I think Sinema knew her opponent was a conspiracy nut, and she just got out of her way in the debate and let ‘er rip. Great move.

    I hope it’s enough but with the hate machine cranked up to 11 who knows, that conspiracy nut seems like a shoo-in for McCain’s seat.
