I’m not getting over this one. I can’t describe how ludicrous the active shooter drills are at my school. Beyond their insulting pointlessness, it’s the mindset that our students have to become child soldiers, their bodies shot to pieces to protect the craven adults.
The whole country is standing in the parking lot of that Texas parking lot waiting for somebody else to do something.
