Right. The alternative ‘differential’ form is what’s usually taught in undergraduate physics courses, but the integral form is more general and is generally used for large-scale calculations.
Looks like a lot of cool stuff above those path integrals as well, including the Gaussian normal, the circular constant, and more organic chemistry than ever registered on my mind!
