On this I’ve always accepted reality: millions of American gunfuckers either couldn’t give a shit about, or positively enjoy, the killing spectacle. This doesn’t mean the sickening gun situation in my country is unchangeable.
But yes, a few scattered campus bleed-outs are immediately forgotten in favor of the next fun bloodbath.

Many besides me think gun control is far from an impossibility. There’s intense and broad activism around the issue, and certainly courts, for instance, are getting much more impressive in responding to gun and gun related crimes.
Trump’s romp through our institutions is true to form disgusting, but I promise you he’ll do far less damage to this country than guns will.
