A friend of mine, one year older than the professor, was just diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Is 59-60 about the age at which it shows up? And was she suffering from it and unwilling to face that future after a lifetime devoted to movement?
Ironically, I wonder if his physical therapist was influenced by her work.
